May 2016 Meeting

The May 19th, Thursday 2016 meeting of the Pentucket Radio Association will be held at The West Newbury Emergency Operations Center, 401 Main Street, West Newbury on the second floor at 7:30 PM.

Talk-in will be on our repeater: 146.625 MHz PL 131.8

For members who may need or want a ride, let us know (via the email list) and we’ll try to accommodate you.

John J. will also attempt to use skype for those members who wish to attend remotely. Add pentucket.radio to your buddy list if you want to wish to take advantage of this and be online at meeting time.

We will start public planning for Field Day in this meeting.

April 2016 Meeting

Meeting Reminder

This meeting will probably be dominated by NEAR-Fest talk and perhaps some initial talk about Field Day.

2016 Annual Meeting

The P.R.A. Annual Meeting will be held at the West Newbury Emergency Operations Center, 401 Main Street along Route 113 in West Newbury on 21 January 2016 at 7:30PM EST. The West Newbury EOC will likely be the “standard” location for our meeting, going forward. Thanks to Mike Dwyer for setting this up.

Please note, your 2016 dues must be paid in full in order to be eligible to run for office (or to vote for those who do). John has mailed out renewal forms to all. Please return them at your earliest convenience.

September Meeting

The September 18th Friday, 2015 meeting of the Pentucket Radio Association will be held at The New Brookridge Community Church, 232 Main Street (Rt 125), Haverhill, MA at 7:30 PM.

This is the first meeting after the summer and the last meeting before October NearFest. Most of the discussion will probably involve NearFest preparation.

June Meeting

Monthly Meeting Reminder

The June 18th Thursday, 2015 meeting of the Pentucket Radio Association will be held at the Heavenly Donuts in Bradford on Rt. 125 at 7:30 PM. Sadly, the church isn’t available, so this is the best fall-back we can think of. If you have a better idea for a meeting place in that part of town, let us know.

This is the last meeting before Field Day and the last meeting before the summer break. We expect mostly discussion related to Field Day planning.

May Meeting

There will likely be a lively discussion about upcoming Field Day preparations. There will be a lot of work and planning to do. Contact Dave KD1NA or myself if you can volunteer time or equipment but can’t make it to the next two meetings.

April Meeting

As with last month, the meeting business will probably be dominated by
NEAR-Fest and Field Day planning. We encourage your attendance if you’re
interested in these topics. If we close out business early, Either Dave
KD1NA or John (AB1PX) will give a technical presentation.
